As a Chicago engagement photographer, I’ve explored endless locations for photo sessions. From the river views to the city architecture, Chicago has it all! When Jennifer and Bryant told me they wanted to have both views, I knew exactly where to take them for the session of their dreams! I had the pleasure of capturing this Chicago loop engagement session.
I stumbled upon this location while being a tourist in my own city. If you are a photographer in Chicago, you know it’s only a select number of options for great backgrounds. I knew right away that I had to bring an engaged couple and my camera here ASAP! And this beautiful spot, especially in the spring, was the perfect backdrop for Jennifer and Bryant’s love story!
The sun-hazed buildings gave the whole session a romantic vibe and the outfit choices Jennifer and Bryant wore added a sprinkle of class. While I’m sure Jennifer and Bryant could take incredible photos on a construction site, a setting like this one sure didn’t hurt!
I also loved the way they dressed to complement the location. I always advise couples to look up images of their session location beforehand to ensure perfect color choices, and these two definitely chose wisely! An outfit option can make or break a location. I love when my couples come to a session dressed super classy.
Finding the perfect spot to take a couple’s photos isn’t always easy, but you better believe I’ll be returning to this one over and over again! Congratulations, Jennifer and Bryant on your engagement, and I so pumped to capture your wedding!
